Star Wars: The Last Jedi – 2017
The eighth feature of the cult series, Star Wars, starts with the uncovering of Luke Skywalker by the new young protagonist Rey. The story follows Rey and her strong-willed interest in learning the ways of the force from Skywalker, while The First Order lead to finally annihilate General Leia Organa and The Resistance. But, Finn, Poe and new companion, Rose, have their own mission to fight back against Kylo Ren and the First Order before Rey can return to an endangered Resistance.

Conclusion – Personal thoughts and recommendations
The Last Jedi is the most heavily debated movie of the last month. I personally loved the movie and think it is one of my favourites from the series and I’m a real hardcore fan. That being said, I would’ve rated it a 10 but the first half I will have to say was extremely slow and some parts irrelevant. But, when the second half of the film picked up, it completely blew me away. I’ll speak more into these parts in my in-depth review.
I would recommend this film to anyone who has seen the other movies. I know this is a small population of the world but, if you have not seen the other movies, especially The Force Awakens, do not go see this movie as it’ll leave you confused and unwilling to watch the rest of the series which, I might add, is worth watching.
To conclude, a good thing to keep in mind before seeing this movie is that there is currently a massive civil (some might argue not so civil) disagreement happening of whether The Last Jedi is the best or the worst movie made in the Star Wars series so I highly recommend trying to steer clear of the discussion as it may lead to misconceptions of the movies and won’t allow you to have your own thoughts of the movie. I would also recommend, as stated above, seeing the other films before this one.
If you choose to see it, enjoy! And comment your opinion on the film in the comments or on my in-depth review of the film (warning: review contains spoilers from the film).
